An Open Eye

Certain vehicle issues seem to pop up in yearly cycles within the automotive maintenance and repair world. Around this time of year, as we enter into the hot hot Sacramento Summer, two things we often see are issues with air conditioning and Batteries.

Your air conditioning is a sealed system that, when operating correctly, shouldn't need to be serviced very often. However, as your vehicle and its materials age, leaks may develop that cause the refrigerant to leave the system. If your A/C is no longer blowing cold, this may be the cause. However, there are other components that can go bad as well. We can take a look at your system and let you know the best route forward for getting your A/C repaired and back to its chill self.

Few things are more frustrating than a car that won't start. Often, that is due to a dead battery. This time of year, when temperatures are in flux, any flaws in a battery tend to be exaggerated, and batteries on the edge of their useful life are sent over. If you are noticing longer cranking when starting up your car or strange behavior with the electronic, this is a common sign there is an issue.
